I have solved the problem by deleting a windows update KB891711.
Everything returned to normal operations after deleting this program. I
deleted by going to control panel, add/remoeve programs and then removing it.
I read this had worked by another person on another post within this
discussion group.
Hope this helps...
By the way, I run win98, never had any prob's with it. There were no new
programs or software from the ISP or me.
