Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 with WindowsMe

I have IE 6.0 SP1 but my school's website requires 6.0 SP2 or 5.5 SP2. I
found info saying you can't get 6.0 SP2 with WinMe. Is there a way to get
5.5 SP2 then? Am I going to have to upgrade my operating system?
