Internet Explorer 6 error

When i visit websites that use flash i get the error message ' Internet
explore (IE)caused an invalid page fault in Module MSVCRT.DLL'. A second box
then appears saying an internal error has occured in IE. IE will now close.
Explorer then closes. I would be very grateful if someone could explain why
this is happening and advise a solution. Thank you for your time.
