Internet explorer 7 and vista

My IE-7 has quit wroking due ti date exection prevention. Can anyone tell me
how to resolve this?

Most likely it is being caused by an add-on in IE7. Go to Start, All
Programs, Accessories, System Tools. There you will find Internet Explorer
(No Add-ons). Does IE7 then work correctly if you use the No Add-Ons one?

I tried what Jane suggested and IZE worked. How can I fix the program so
that it will respond to th e icon linked on the desktop?

Disable add-ons one by one until you find the offending add-on.

Menu bar (ALT if not visible), Tools > Manage Add-ons... > Enabe or disable
add-ons
