Most add-ons installed before IE7 was released cause problems. A few, like
Google, released fixed versions during the beta process, but I can't
remember when. It's simple enough to test. If it were my machine I would
test by running in No-Add-ons mode and if that fixed it uninstall ALL
add-ons and reinstall the ones I really used from their Web sites. If
uninstalling then didn't work but running without add-ons did then there is
almost certainly malware installed.
