Hello Robert

The only add-on which refers to flash in any way is Shock wave Flash Object
which I have now disabled - did you mean this ?

I have looked in Internet options Advanced - canot find anything with
reference to script enabling.

Any Suggestions please ?

1. Does the behavior persist if you start IE in No Add-ons mode? To start
IE in No Add-ons mode:

=> Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without
Add-ons; or

=> Start | (All) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No add-ons).

Troubleshooting and Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) Mode:

2. Does the behavior persist if you Reset IE Advanced settings (RIES)?

Then I suspect you have a different ActiveX control which is causing
your symptom. Again, I gave you a suggestion to set use of ActiveX
controls to prompt which would change your symptoms. There are
also more settings which could be set to Prompt safely, e.g. any which
are already set to Enable could be replied to Yes or No without having
to understand exactly what you were replying to.

>
> I have enabled active scripting - still no change.

That is not what you were supposed to try.
You were supposed to try setting it to Prompt
and using a prompt sequence to change your symptom description,
e.g. either work around your problem symptom or get more information
about when the crash symptom occurs.

Good luck

Robert
