Internet Explorer 9 and Google's Toolbar

I have Internet Explorer 9 and the Google toolbar (ver.
7.1.1920.1238). This is the latest version.

I find that this version crashes my browser. I re-installed the
toolbar, but found the same problem.

I have currently disabled the toolbar, but would like to use it for
searching and the bookmarks facilities

Any advice
