Once i installed SP2 whenever i went to view websites the background colour
remains white no matter what website i go in to. It also has effected the
font size, for example in this community the writing of other ppls posts is
really large. is it something i have done or is in the SP2 affecting it

When i went back to a previous restore point before the installation of SP2
i had no problems, please help me! It is a problem and is making some
websites unviewable as due the the large wrting some writing overlaps and is
difficult to read!!

Open IE/Tools/Internet Options. On the General tab select the Color and/or
Fonts buttons and adjust the display to what looks good for you.

I don't think SP2 would have done anything more than perhaps attempt to
reset your display to defaults. Do you have a 3rd party browser add-in that
adjusts how you see websites?

i have tried that before but it doesn't work. i dont understand it. How do
you search for add in and how do you know if they affect ur website display.
For example MSN just loads up background white with a bit of blue here and
there should it be doing that with SP2?

Start here to scan your system for 3rd party malware:
http://aumha.org/a/noads.htm

You should download/install the free AdAware (be sure to get the latest data
update after you install it and before you run it):
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

You can manage the IE add-ins for your system by using the IE/Tools/Manage
Add-Ons... option from the IE menu.

SP2 is NOT doing that.

Probably. Make sure that nothing is checked in the Internet Options
Accessibility dialog. From IE: press Alt-T,O,Alt-e,...

After I installed the Service Pack 2 update, any of the IE6 windows for the
display. All web sites I view, even if a style has been specified, display in
this default font. When I go to Tools/Internet Options/Fonts, it shows that
it is defaulting to Times Roman and Courier, but this is not what is
displayed onscreen. When I click okay and go back to the general tab, "Apply"
is not available to me.

I have also tried what Steve J suggested about editing the registry, but
there is no "Current Version" folder under "Microsoft"

HELP! I'm trying to have my web site designed and can't properly view what
the designer intends.
