Hello,
I was writing to ask if anyone could help me with this problem. My
Internet Explorer doesn't work. I haven't used it in a while, but when
I need to use it for something that only does Windows things... it
doesn't work. The error message - "This Page Cannot Be Displayed"
comes up and I try everything to get to a page that works.. but it just
doesn't happen. It thinks I'm not connected to the internet or
something.. but I have a cable modem...and my Firefox works, so I know
I'm connected.. but the IE doesn't work... and for some reason my
Windows Media Player won't stream either. I'm thinking this could be
due to the IE not working. Any ideas?

Launch Internet Explorer and from the Toolbar select:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Restore Defaults,
then click Apply.

Windows version?

Those are symptoms of a hijackware infection, Matt.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
