I think this might be the solution to my problem of having multiple windows
opening on launch - at times over 100 in a few seconds - totally locking up
my system.
I have a stand alone version of IE 7 Beta 1 that I snagged from
http://www.skyzyx.com/ running alongside IE 4, 5, 5.5 and 6. I always thought
that these versions didn't add anything to the registry. Hmmm . . . so how
did it get there?
I found a similar key but the upper lower cases are slightly different so
I'm not sure it is identical to the one you recommended removing I'll give it
a try once I receive confirmation that they are indeed the same:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{c90250f3-4d7d-4991-9b69-a5c5bc1c2ae6}.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C90250F3-4D7D-4991-9B69-A5C5BC1C2AE6}
I need to have these browers available to do cross browser testing. So
exactly how can I do that with IE 7?
TIA! And thank you!!!
