Internet Explorer settings

It seems to be impossible to save my internet password in Internet
Explorer. I am having to log on on first with password, then open
Internet Explorer. All the same settings options are still there, but
it just won't remember my password. I have tried opening the program
as Administrator but the same problem occurs. Any ideas?

Have you tried de-installing and then re-installing the program?
