When adding a favorite interernet site/shortcut while surfing the web:
1. This was default in Exp7. Add the option to make the default "add
folder" the most recent folder you added an internet favorite to.
2. This was default before. Now atleast add an option (keep in mind that
most people b/w the ages of 5 and 65 willl choose this option) to not
automatically expand all favorite folders when adding a favorite. I'm
seriously having vision issues since this buggy change. I may actually be
crossed-eyed now if I wasn't before.
3. This was also default in prior versions. When I clicked on "add
favorite", previous I could click on the first folder that appeared, then
type the one of more letters of the desired file name I want it saved under,
which bring me to that folder I wanted.......greatly speeding things up.

Any one of those 3 bugs listed above is enough to cause a lost Explorer
user. If this isn't fixed, droves of people including myself will be
migrating to other browsers.

I seldom need such an option.

I guess this lets me out because I will soon by 80.

I just go down through the list of folders and select the one I want to use.
I use whatever name the site uses to describe itself,

Here is one who believes this is all just a tempest in a teapot.

This automatic expansion of the headings in Favorites was obviously devised
by someone who has no comprehension of how to organize information by the
subject of the information.

Hi Bogey Man,

That would include 50% of the population.

Turn on the IE8 Address Bar autocomplete and use the Smart address bar
search features to find and launch your Favorites from your Address bar.
Eventually IE will learn your surfing history and display your most used
Favorite links in the top of the IE Smart Address bar. Otherwise, IE has no
problems finding a Favorite link from the 3000 or so that I have. It’s a lot
quicker than trying to visually search through the Favorites Center list.
You can either start typing the url or the Favorite title and IE8 will fill
the the Address Bar autocomplete list from both your history and Favorites
Internet Shortcuts.
(no brainer).

Regards.
