Internet no longer automatically connected

Since upgrading to Vista Home Premium from XP, I continually have problems
getting on to the internet from my broadband connection. I usually have to go
into Standby and then log back on again. Has anyone else seen this since
installing Vista, and what have you done to fix it?

I used a Voyager Usb modem supplied by my Isp (Totalise) after upgrade,
couldnot rely on consrtant connection. Theere are no Vista drivers aviable.
my Isp supliedme with a router .
My son who is with Tiscali I believe uses a Sagem Usb modem, he on the other
end got new drivers from
Tiscali..
If you upgraded from XP. Vista will use the Xp drivers for your modem this
is titally unreliable.. If You unlnstall the driver an reinstall even in
compatible mode, you may loose the connection comp;etly. If there are
drivers get the Vista ones or get a router. Frank
