Have you tried running IE with elevated privileges (don't do this all
the time as you are asking for trouble from the nasties) and changing
the temporary files storage space in Tools. This change involves a
registry change and your administrator privileges may not be high enough
as a normal user. You could also switch off UAC in your user profile to
make the change. I recommend you turn it on again, but thats up to you
