internet title fonts

i have just updated vista and its made my toolbar letters ,my gagets and my
internet title lettering all bigger squashing everything i have uninstalled
the updates but no help is there a way to reset the system back to how it was
, a friend said he man at the shop did his resetting it back a week please
help

I would guess you are set to a lower resolution.

Rightclick the desk, Personalize/Display Settings/move the slider to the
right.

If that is not it, the Personalize dialog has a "Colors and Appearance"
feature. There is a link to 'classic' features, which will take you to an
Advanced button, then the Item drop box can be set to ICON, and then it's
Font change box, change the SIZE feature.
