Interrupted update install - Error Code: 0x80246008

I was trying to update my windows a couple of days ago via the Automatic
Updates and unfortunately, some way through the process of installing the
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP (KB905915), I
had a power shortage and my pc restarted... now some of my software wont work
while a different software is running and such... Unfortunately, I dont know
how to deal with this and have so far found nothing that helps me to deal
with this here... does anyone have a solution?
