invalid devenum.dll when running Certificate Key Update Tool

Unfortunately I have been stung by piracy when I bought a computer in Russia.
I live in Russia as a missionary. I am trying to get a valid certificate
which I found I can accomplish over the internet (pay for it, then MS sends
me the key to Win XP Pro).

Problem is this: Before I can install the key my system must pass a
validation step to determine that all the Windows files are certified. My
system fails with one error...it says simply that the DEVENUM.DLL file does
not pass validation. Therefore I must install the key with the XP Pro CD they
are sending me. My problem is I am in Russia...this will take weeks.

I do not understand what could be wrong with this file. It appears to be the
right file for XP Pro SP1...v 6.05.01.0902...130kb.

Any help to get this file to validate would be great...but maybe I just need
to wait. If you can help an email would be much more efficient for me....
