When I try to Record and Burn a DVD via Vista Media Centre using either the
Sample Videos supplied with Vista or a previously recorded TV programme, the
resultant DVD displays an Inverted and Mirror Image video, when played back
on either the computer or a stand alone DVD Player. I think that I have a
unique problem here in that I cannot find any reference to this problem via
other users. Even the Computer Manufacturer (In this case Dell) does not
appear to be able to solve the problem, Can Anybody Help Me Out There?

I downloaded a few DivX movie clips the other day. I didn't have the codec
so I installed it. The first time or two I played the clips (using WMP),
they were inverted and mirrored. Now every time I play them they seem to be
ok. In between I've done nothing except log on/off and maybe reboot. I
have no idea why it did it in the first place, nor what made it work
properly. But I don't really much care now that it is.

Neil, thanks for your reply, but I have logged on/off several times and this
did not fix the problem.

I have found a workaround to the inverted video problem by using NERO-7.

If you purchase or dowload the trial version of NERO-7, it will appear as an
additional burning option in Media Centre. Using NERO all video images are
the correct way-up with perfect sound track. Hope that this helps?
