I have a question regarding IPv6, DNS and Windows 2008.
Should I unistall/disable IPv6 on DCs or Should I leave it enable? I noticed
that when you run Ipconfig/all on a DC the DNS Server is as follows:

DNS Servers: ::1
127.0.0.1

The list should list the IP of the server.

What would be the best practice in this case. Only IPv4 is implemented.

Thank you in Advance.

Hello Jorge,

There are some known problems with IPv6, where it helps to disable IPv6 complete.
But as IPv6 is the future and if you don't have problems i would leave it
enabled. If problems arise you can still see if it helps then.

Best regards
