I've got broadband, so either way ...

I've downloaded the EXE file for SP3; now I'm reading recommendations to burn it to CD. I cannot just burn the EXE onto a
CD? I have to download a separate ISO file?

Use the .iso file, not the .exe file. It's at the same place you got the
..exe file.

Whatever you want.
The CD ISO is just the executable with an installer/front end.
If you want to burn the exe to a CD - do that too.
Whatever floats your boat. ;-)
Do both - compare them ... ;-P

Lady Dungeness,

Yes, you CAN burn an EXE file onto a CD. If you do, you'll first have to
copy the EXE file onto whatever computer you want to install SP3 on, and
invoke the executable from the hard drive after it's been copied.

Burning an ISO file onto a CD allows you to install the SP3 directly from
the CD.

Thank you, gentlemen.
I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I try installing -- I like to read the messages first. I got both files so I'm
ready to go.
