I haven't had an opportunity to see how they're doing this, but are you running nay sort of
Qwest-based software that might influence this?
Regardless of your answer, as a starting point, try making a new Windows Live ID
(
https://signup.live.com) that has no relation to Qwest and then sign in to that address in
Messenger. It would be interesting to see if it's actually placing the branding on based on
the account or otherwise.
