Hey, i'm new to setting up my own web server and I have been following the
guides.

All was going well untill i came to a bump.

I followed these steps to open IIS Manager:

1. Click the Start button , click All Programs, click Accessories, and
then click Run.

2. In the Run box, type mmc, and then click OK.

3. In the MMC console, click File, and then click Add/Remove Snap-in. If
you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the
password or provide confirmation.

4. On the Add or Remove Snap-ins dialog box, in the Available snap-ins
list, click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

5. Click Add, and then click OK.

My problem is when i open the MMC console and go to add/remove snap-in,
Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager is not in the snap-ins list. Why
is this so? Has this happened to anyone else? I did everything else correct
as i was following this guide:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...05da81033.mspx

Please help me in anyway possible.

Kind regards,
Liam.

What version of Vista?
It is NOT included(by default) in Home Premium.

You need to install IIS, Check under Control Panel > Programs and Features >
under 'Task' click
then 'Turn Windows Features on or off' link from the list available then
from list of options > check off 'Internet Information Services' click OK.
