Issues with GIF Animation Avatars from Photobucket in WLM Beta

When I put a GIF Avatar from www.photobucket.com for some reason the avatar
starts with the animation very fast even faster than the normal animation
mode the avatar has in photobucket it's this a bug in windows live messenger
beta 2009? It’s this normal?

here is an example of one of the avatars:

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w.../StarSlave.gif

you will be able to see the animation speed of this avatar in windows live
messenger beta 2009 faster than the original avatar animation speed from
photobucket.

I've seen this happen on some other GIFs too, but not all.

Yeah this is reproducible with some other GIF avatars too. Do you think this
is a bug in this beta version of windows live messenger?

Hi,

The previous lesser-known version of Windows Live Messenger 2009 (beta) had the same problem.

As for it being a bug, really, if it works in IE but not in Messenger, I think something is
up.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug. People get the gif avitars you send, you just
can't see them yourself. Hopefully they can get that bug worked out. It's
one of my main problems with wlm 2009. Another is the default color thing.
That doesn't work either.
