Issues with migrating printers to x64 server?

I've read a couple great posts about the printer migration tool/wizard, but
they seem to be sticking with migrating between Srvr03 x86 versions. We'll
soon be migrating the contents of a couple Srvr03 x86 file/print servers to a
new Srvr03 x64 server. I probably won't get to do the data migration, but
will likely be responsible for subsequent printer situations. Anybody know
of any printer specific issues? Will the MS Windows Server 2003 Print
Migrator 3.1 work for this? Any other advice?

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Hello Rob,

Printmigrator also migrates the drivers so this will be no choice for you.
I think you have to install them new on the 64bit version with the correct
dirvers. See here for some additional infos:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...migration.mspx

Hello Meinolf,

Thanks! That answers at least one question and I'll take a look at the
additional info you provided.

Thanks again,
Rob
