Issues with my updates

Hello, perhaps someone can help. My computer was recently reimaged and
afterwards all the latest updates were installed. However afterwards I am
now having a couple of issues, one is that the icon in the sytem tray
indicating wireless connectivity always reports that I am not connected, even
when I am. Also related to that, the network and connection center will not
open. The folder will appear but it will freeze up on me. Additionally when
I use my volume buttons on my laptop, the little volume display no longer
appears. Unfortunately due to the reimage I cannot revert to a previous time
period before the updates, so does anyone have any ideas??? Thanks for any
help you can offer!!

So the issue with the volume button was resolved with a download from Dell,
however the issue with the networking remains. Does anyone have any ideas?
