Issues sending and receiving files

Hello,

Since a few hours ago, I cannot send or receive files, neither see other
people avatars ...when they are out of Spain ( I'm there). With every spanish
contact from my list it works as usual.

I have tried repairing and reinstalling last version of messenger in two
different computers, even when both worked a few days ago, and both still
have the same issue.

Does anyone else have this silly problem?

A bit sleepy and forgot to explain it...

Whenever you send an image you get no message, it just disappears from the
messenger window after a while In the case of any non-image file, you get a
message saying the transfer was cancelled.

I've had this same issue sending files, pictures, web cam invites, or game
invites to Colombia for about 3 days now. All these things fail to work. I
live in Utah, USA and have tried reistalling fresh and tried on 3 different
computers in two different cities and all fail. I also have tried with
several different people in latin america and all do not work.

Has this feature been cut off for international use? One weird thing is
Video Calls still work.

I can do everthing.. in my country.. but Brazil.. spain and holland.

I don't have specific proof beyond just observations, but I do believe there were some weird
server problems causing this yesterday.

Not seen it happen today.

Thanks for checking Jonathan.

However, I am afraid i have been getting the same behaviour since friday and
is still happening right now.

If there is anything you think i could check tell me and i will try it, even
when it could take me a while to answer since we are quite far in time zones
hehe.

i have the same problem too..
with spanish people (cause i live in spain)
everything works fine..i can see their photo
but i am chatting also with greeks and i cant
see their photo, custom emoticons, send or recieve
webcam invites nothing..only with a very few persons.
i tried to force WLM to refresh cache by deleting the
necessary files/folders in %appdata% but again
it works only with locals.
i even tried to format and reinstall OS and check but
it failed also

I have the same problem now, and I can't think of what it could be
I am in the U.S. and I was talking with friends in Peru and I can'
send files or see their emoticons... what's going on

Have any of you downloaded aything new or alrtered your setting o
Messenger. If you go to options you can stop any of these actions

Not trying to teach my grandmother and all that.....but ti's nice t
check out the basics first
