Issues

I got windows live messenger installed just fine, but now it wont work. I go
to start the application and it never pops up and the little icon thing on
the start bar thing disappears when i go to click on it. This is rather
irritating. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and i still have the same
issue.

Just to clarify. You see it start in the notification area (by the clock), then when you go
to hover your mouse cursor over its icon, it disappears?

If so, what's happening is Messenger is crashing and Windows doesn't realize it's crashed and
ended until you actually move your mouse over it.

I've got the exact same problem...See post from 5 minutes ago 9/23/07...Did
MS support ever provide solution for?

I am having the same issue and would love some information on how to resolve it. To re-iterate, I launch windows live messenger and nothing comes up. However in the tool bar the icon appears. When i move the mouse over the icon it disappears. This has been going on for months. It did work at one time but then about 4 months ago just stopped working.

Please help
