Issues with update KB925902

I have had the following issues with this update so far:

Defender is unable to install updates, either automatically or manually.

Kerio firewall installation is blocked with an error message shown

AVG Anti-Virus will not install unless this update is removed.

(I have applied the patch for this update but it made no difference)

Thanks I was wondering about the patch,,,

I've turned of my updates and system retored to april 9th....

I don't know how to proceed in the future

Will MS address this and issue a cumulative patch that works?

And which Windows version are you running?

You seem to running Windows XP SP2. What are the issues you're

Not a good idea since KB925902 is an *essential* update.

Another installation that was blocked today for me was Channel 4 television
(UK)'s On demand programme.

I have cured the problems I was having by uninstalling the Vista Inspirat
Bricopack transformation pack for XP which I had installed.

There seems to have been a conflict between that and update KB925902.

Everything working fine again now. Thanks for your replies. :-)
