Its has become a big problem

when windows vista shuts down the power does not turn off anymore on the laptop. any ideas why?

Check in Power Management what your Buttons are set to do... Shutdown is
probably
no longer set to Power Off.... IF it is,,, set it to something else. Reboot
and set it back to
Power Off.
