its simple.....

people don't want vista...

they want something that works even if it does not have glass effects...

People who know what they are doing, are asking for XP on their new
machines
and are ignoring totally Vista.

Of course there are also the ignorant folk who go and get a PC and to their
astonishment they discover
that its not the Windows they knew.. but another strange unfriendly and
hostile OS: Vista!

MS forgot the needs of the user.. and the declining number of Vista sales is
showing that they should have listened to what the consumer really wants!

Before the vista fanatics pounce on me. I suggest they read this page in its
entirety and then think about
vista and XP.... which is REALY better taking into account all parameters?

http://www.betainfoguide.com/BetaBetter.html

XP is better by far, even though Vista may "seem" better, it is not.

You got a URL to the scientifically conducted, independent market survey
that substantiates and proves your statement?
Post it, ok?

You mean like Vista basic, right?

Is that your personal opinion or do you have a URL to that
scientifically conducted, independent market survey that substantiates
your statement?
Post it, ok?

Wow! And intelligent statement of fact. Are you one of those who thought
that Vista was only XP+ eye-candy?
I guess so.

... but another strange unfriendly and
> hostile OS: Vista!

hehehe...you don't like nor can you accept change?
Pity, as things have to change so that they can remain the same.
You may need to have someone with a brain explain that statement to you.

MS forgot the needs of the user.. and the declining number of Vista
sales is
showing that they should have listened to what the consumer really wants!

You got any survey that shows the sales numbers that reflect your statement?
I didn't thinks so.
Take my advice, Vista is way beyond your mental comprehension...stick
with XP or maybe even Etch A Sketch.
You'll be much happier.

More people are using it than the numbers would indicate as Vista is being
rampantly pirated in India, Brazil, China and other countries. Microsoft
overestimated the sales figures by underestimating the vigor of the software
pirates. Just about everyone wants it whether they can (or are willing to)
afford it or no.

Yes, XP SP2 makes for a nice system. But I have Windows Vista doing very
well here performing quite a number of duties including everything from
letter writing, software development through game playing and virtual
machines, to video capture and editing. Windows Vista is fine and capable
for an operating system.

Can't get it in your little mind that Vista is the very best Operating
System that Microsoft has ever released, huh?
If you're confused by Vista then try XP or even Etch a sketch.
But your blabbering on about Vista only shows what an ignorant
incompetent jerk you are.
Try morphing again...I just love catching you're stupid ass doing that crap.

As a point of reference: I have walked through several of the big
electronics stores in the Houston area; *all* of the systems on display were
Vista. I asked if one could buy a new XP based computer at that store;
answer is no, they all come with only Vista OEM. However, they do have a
small software section where one can buy an XP OS and install it for oneself
after buying the Vista based machine.

Frank, you're one of the fanboy drones that thinks Vista is so
radically different you have to "learn" how you use it.

What a putz!

Change is fine. Broken software pushed out the door before it was
finished isn't. THAT in a nutshell describes the Microsoft business
model. Mess around for years in so-called "development", make all
kinds of promises what the new version of Windows will include, but
yank them from the final version. Stall, makes excuses, ship it late
and demand your customers become your unpaid beta testers.

Idiots like Frank think that is how all software is developed.

You should have someone explain to you why you come across as a
transvestite suffering from symptoms similar to menopause, a hangover
and recovering from a drug overdose all at once. You're one screwed up
character Frankie, but you do have some minor entertainment value as
newsgroup clown.

You are simple in your thinking. Some people want Vista. Some don't. If
you don't like Vista, go back to XP. You are ignorant and a total moron.
Just another douche bag here in the Vista group. Just FYI.

Maybe you and the group retard, Kevin should get together and talk about
Windows 2008 Server Beta, Just FYI.

Of course all the machines in the electronics stores have Vista on them.
They are consumer goods and the people who purchase them usually could care
less what is on the computer. They just take what is there.

If you know any better, purchase online or ask for a machine built to your
specifications. Maybe even get XP on it.

According to the king of putz, little Frankie numbnuts who is so
utterly stupid he refers to minimum wage dorks answering the phone at
Microsoft his personal "hired" consultants. Damn Frank, most people
as stupid as you would be ashamed to say anything in public. Obviously
not you since you relish in being a seen as a fool.

You couldn't catch flies if you jumped into a vat of honey then rubbed
dog sh*t on your nose.
