I know that many people have had many different issues with iTunes. My
particular issue deals with the launch of the program. When I launch iTunes
immediately a message pops up saying that “iTunes has stopped working”. Then
Windows checks for a solution. iTunes worked from February till the latest
Windows update on the 10JUL07
Solution’s I have tried
1. Re-install iTunes with latest version (Apple recommended)
2. Un-install QuickTime and use the repair feature in iTunes installation
3. Ensure that Quicktime audio settings are not on wave out only (Apple
recommended)
4. Delete the SC info file for iTunes (Apple recommended)
5. Un-intall the Windows updates
6. Re-install the Windows updates
7. System restore to before the updates
None of these worked
For those of you who will tell me to use another program with my iPod, I
appreciate your thought but I prefer to use iTunes. I am right now using
Media Player for my music but with a selection of 20,000 songs all neatly
organized I cannot have the same control over my library as I could before,
and media player seems to take much longer to scroll through my song list.

carey,
No joy. I installed the update but it did not fix my problem. I have
also used a registry cleaner to rid myself of any excess entries which might
cause the malfunction. Any other ideas would be gratly appreciated!!
