IUpdateSearcher:Search hangs infinetly

Hello All,

I am trying to scan a windows xp machine from windows 2003 server machine.
But my program hangs indefinetly when the control comes to
"IUpdateSearcher:Search" Api.

Can any body help me in this regard, I will provide the source code which i
am using if any one require to debug.
