won't start telling: "I need the IE sp1 to work" It is the same for Outlook

My OS is always sp1
Thanks for your help

I'm having trouble understanding what you are asking..
However, you'll know you have SP2 by doing the following:

Start button --> RUN and typing in:

winver

and clicking OK.

If it does not tell you there you have SP2, you don't have SP2.

Internet Explorer and Windows XP do not need to be at the
same Service Pack level. That is, it is OK to have IE-SP2
while running Windows XP-SP1. Is this the question that is
being asked?

Does Windows Update say you need to install these updates?
