JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE

Hi I am having big problems with Java, can anyone help?

I know that microsoft no longer support JVM, I have tried to install Java
from Sun, but I keep getting the message stating that Java running time
environment cannot be loaded.

There is one particular website that I visit that requires Java and each
time I visit and try to log on to games I am getting the message (several
Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error).

I have installed and uninstalled Sun Java so many times now and cannot seem
to find any other application on my system. Need help desperately...driving
me insane. Any ideas?
