I am trying to find a way to see when a website was last updated. I have
found this javascript in a number of places, but it doesn't seem to work for
me. I have made sure that all add-ins are enabled and that java is enabled.
Does anyone know what I need to do to run this code. From what I understand,
you just copy this into the address bar and Enter and a new window is
supposed to appear that shows the latest update date. Can anyone help figure
out why this is not running properly. Thanks.

Hi Sharon,

Run IE7 in no-Addons mode. The correct syntax is
javascript:alert(document.lastModified);

Regards.
