Has anyone who applied the updates for this month noticed a major slowdown of
their system? I let Windows Update installed the patches and when I
rebooted, it took around five to ten minutes to boot finish the startup
process, where it normally clocks arond two to three (I don't have the
fastest computer). When I attempt to launch an application, it likewise take
around five minutes to load up. I simply cannot use the computer at all. I
had to do an upgrade install on XP to solve the issue, but now I have to
install ALL the patches since SP2.

I have another computer running XP Home and is afraid to install the patches
for that one should it causes the same result.
