July 11 Update For Office -- KB 917151

One of the July 11 updates for my computer called for a security update for
Microsoft Office 2003. I do not have this software -- only the MS Office
Word Viewer SP1 which only allows me to read something written by MS Office
Word. I do not believe I need this update. The KB at Microsoft does not
mention the Viewer. Does anyone know anything about this update?

is quite clear that this update does apply to the Word Viewer.

Thanks for your response. The info you referred me to is not the MS material
I read earlier. I don't get the Technet writeups. Again, many thanks for
your advice.
