Hi,
since I installed the patches from July 12,
Pcs are rebooting when you select start-shutdown.
Instead of shutting down, the pcs are re-starting again.
any help will be appreciated.
thanks.

Wow I had that problem to I didnt like the one patch around that time period.
I was wishy washy on it. Many times lately I get a windows update thing down
to find out that i cant start back up after it shuts down to save the update.
Leaveing me raveing mad. The reboot when it's supposed to shutdown. I fixed
that problem I took the stupid patch out and computerloves me now lol.

Often the problem is that WINXP has not assigned a drive letter. I suggest
you go to Start/Control Panel/Admistrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk
Management.

You should see the drive here and be able to assign it a 'drive letter'.
This will likely 'fix' the problem.

Good luck
