A problem with that is that Vista users are being pointed here
as if the WU NG *is* a Vista NG. In that case the question is definitely
on-topic and legitimately posted here.
See the Windows Update menu item in this portal for example:

If only there was a line in the menu which said: Other newsgroups
(e.g. heading the last five) I think it would then be much clearer to Vista users
why their posts in them get the reaction (or non-reaction) they do.
It might also induce them to identify the context of their questions better;
though some, such as this one, seem to be doing that well anyway.
FWIW I have been adding a crosspost to these to Vista General
to try to increase their visibility among people who are actually using
that OS. Otherwise I think would should be leaving posts such as
this alone and hope that somebody else in the beta answers them.
