Have a Vista machine, auto updating, which refuses to update the newest Junk
E-mail Filter. The error code is 800B0100 but Microsoft doesnt recognize it
and tell me how to fix it. I see that that code has been used a few times in
this discussion, but having to do with XP SP2 update, and dated prior to
Vista release. Any ideas?

I also have a Vista machine with the same problem and I couldn't find help
from or this error code posted as it didn't exist.

Try a search?

The code seems to be indicating something about certificates

(Live Search for
0x800b0100 microsoft codes
)

BTW this newsgroup may not be the best one for trying to diagnose
this symptom. Try Office Update or Security instead.

Good luck

I'm also getting this message when trying to install that folder update.
You would think that Microsoft would have a signed cert.
