Just got lucky on the update problems

3 updates were failing--- as suggested on a MS fix I undid a Registry Clean
and the updates loaded after that. Giveit a try and good luck.

Thx fo rthe info.... but how do you go about undoing the registry clean and
updating it again?

I have been having MS Update error for almost 7 mths... the error is
0x80246008. I have done evrything possible and gone through all newsgroup,
support to no avail.

When I try to start the BITS (manual), i get another error message - Error
193:0xc1.
this error msg doesn't exist anywhere.

this si where i get stuck all the time.
