Just installed ITMU v.3, Now what?

Hi,

We are rnning SMS 2003 sp2. I just installed ITMU v.3. Now what do I do?
Any tips to get me started or doc(s)?

advertise the program that was created during the installation process to
those systems that you want to scan. you can either advertise the scan
program with the expidited option or run the scan and then kick off a
hardware inventory. if you've selected to use the expidted option you can
then examine the canned reports to determine where you vulnerabilities are.

Once you decided which patches you want to deploy you can use the
Distributie updates wizard to create you patching packages and programs.
Then advertise that package and programs to those systems you want to patch.
