Just for the record I downloaded SP1 and ran it on my Vista Home Premium
machine. Went away and had a cuppa. Came back and it was all done and
dusted. Hmmm. No problems, no issues, no disasters, no glitches, no crashes,
no blue screens, no screaming or gnashing of teeth. Opps! What HAVE I done
wrong?

Same here, Pete

Kevpan already replied in the negative (surprise). He'll soon be
joined by Alias.

Cheers

Same result here - but you must take your time over your cuppa <WG>

You may want to fake it a bit more Peter.
Xtra.co.nz being a valid ISP, chances are there could be someone with a
username of peterbal who is receiving unwanted spam.

I may have written the odd novel or two while sipping that cuppa (grin)

SP1 Doesn't slow down a normal persons computer. It just slows down
Kevpan's computer because he thinks it is slower when actually it is faster.
He doesn't have the ability to figure that one out. It is likely that he
screwed up the computer so bad, it is really messed up.

I don't see how it can be messed up because his computers get reinstalled
every 3 or 4 days. And That is Just FYI.

Maybe it is a right wing computer. Wacked Out. Just FYI

Ah, you are right of course. I meant to spell it as "extra", and ended up
spelling it the right way, which was the wrong way, if you know what I mean.
It's actually my own old address and I don't think they re-issue usernames.
However, your point is a valid one, and I am grateful to you for pointing it
out.

Cheers, Peter
