KB 934458 and KB 921896 constantly re-installing

I've had this Windows Vista Ultimate notebook since June of 2007. Ever since
the end of Dec 2007, two updates have been showing up that need to be
installed.

Critical Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (KB 934458)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 2 (KB 921896)

I can install them, and the next time I check for available updates, they
appear again. Each time they install, the Update History says their
installation was successful.

I want to get the Vista SP1 installed but I think other updates need to be
installed before it will be available via Microsoft Update.

Does anyone have a way to fix this?
