KB 967912 - Why is this a high priority update?

I don't have Windows Live Sign-in Assistant installed yet I got this as a
high priority update. I chose not to install it and now I keep getting
warnings that my computer might not be secure because I didn't install it.

This should not have been offered unless Windows Live Sign-in Assistant
installed was installed.

Why am I being offered this?

It's being offered because (1) your Registry's telling the update
server/engine that one or more Windows Live applications are installed and
(2) you've made Microsoft Update your default update source (vs Windows
Update*).

What Windows Live applications are installed, Michael (e.g., WL Messenger;
WL Mail; WL Writer; WL PhotoGallery; WL Toolbar; WL Family Safety)? If
none, were any of them ever installed?

Microsoft Update offers those and updates for MS Office and many Windows
Live applications.
