KB820888 NTFS Sys Hang Patch

This suggested update was inadvertantly downloaded this about 3 weeks ago; it
caused the exact problem it was meant to solve! I have had to reinstall
Win2K and spent a lot of time sorting everything out to get pc back to how it
was before fatal download. Anyone without much technical knowledge would
have been left with a totally inoperable system. Why are unneccessary
downloads suggested?
