KB824105 Setup Error

I have the same problem as a person wrote earlier that this update failed...
then i downloaded the update file as suggested instead and ran the file
(WindowsXP-KB824105-x86-ENU).

Then i got this error message that didnt let me install the update:

"KB824105 Setup Error
Setup cpuld not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make
sure the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer."

Can anyone please help me with this? i have no idea what to do..

Hei Henrik,

Your Cryptographic Service is most likely running fine, renaming
or deleting the Catroot2 folder is most likely what you need to
do to solve the problem.

I have created a batch file that does this for you.

Look for fixdb.bat under "Error 0x800710D9 Unable to read from
or write to the database". Download and run it.
