KB828741

Hi,

I've attempted serveral times to install this update KB828741 on XP Home,
I've done a brand new install of the OS, no programs are installed and it
continues to fail to install. I did have success with a few downloads sp1
did install, but I can't get past this one, and it appears that Microsoft is
no longer allowing you to download sp2 from their website?

Hi;

To address your last question first, you can still download SP2 from this
site:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Since KB828741 is included in SP2, I recommend you install SP2 instead.
