KB832483

Microsoft Update keeps installing "Security Update for Microsoft Data Access
Components (KB832483)". The update site says the installation was succesfull,
but Microsoft Update keeps reinstalling the update. I have Windows 2000
Profesional with SP4.

We have had several reports that this update will not install correctly
unless the version of MDAC is at 2.8 Service Pack 1.

Interesting that with this problem, windows update does not tell you to
install the MDAC version. I could not even reply to this posting until I
updated the MDAC. It worked. I guess that's all that counts.
