KB834707 and KB885884

Hi everyone,

I had a miserable time trying to install KB834707 (for XP SP2) and KB885884
(for Office XP) using Windows Update. The critical updates just wouldn't
download. I have seen several messages here stating the same problem. I
solved my problem by searching for the individual download pages and
downloading from there. Both installed without any problem. I found them
here:

and
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Yes...HOORAY. This worked. Thanks, Jody, for posting these manual updates URLs.
Now...why can't MICROSOFT make it easy to find these without so much trouble
to going through so many posts? Larry
